There is no trinity mentioned in the Bible. God is described with different words in the Bible, a few of which translate into English as L ORD, Lord, the L ORD almighty, God, God Almighty and so forth.
Trinity Sunday, which falls on the ... for the doctrine of the Trinity is now thought to have been added to the text much later, and with the specific purpose of justifying the doctrine. It states, exactly what the above mentioned verse says, the three are one. While there's only one God, the Godhead consists of three distinct persons - the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

It all goes back to a simple question: What is the Trinity? Second, make a note of the word worship in the phrase “That we worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in Unity”. It was not mentioned until apostate Christianity became the state religion of Rome.
